The reviews of the Olympus LS-10 have been pretty good from the blogs and reviews sites. However, it has been getting a ringing endorsement from film and nature recording sound pro's lately. Where the Sony PCM-D50 sounds amazing but is a bit on the heavy side, the LS-10 has been touted for it's great sound, MP3 recording ability and its on board stereo speakers for playback and review without headphones. Also, since it operates on two AA batteries and uses SD card for recording media, it makes a great option for easy powering up and adding extra time to your recording.
