Here are a couple of videos that are not only bad (I have watched them over and over and can't stop!) but are truly confusing with their overwrought 3-hour-movie-in-a-4-minute-music-video attempting to show love spanning over eternity. They did nail the feeling of eternity though.

I was chatting to a pal of mine that this is pretty much the Goth version of America We Stand as One. Yes, yes, the music is just as bad. But I can never really slam a musician too much cuz at least they're out there trying. But at some point friends should step in and stop this sort of thing.

I may have to open comments to try and determine the ^%$# is going on in this video. So Rick Astly (unverified) produces the music, and they actually get the effects guy from Beetlejuice to direct the video (verified).

But none of this explains...wtf...Lord of the Robin Hood guy with mustache finds hot red head from LA wandering his forest, they fall in love, Destro/Dr.Doom attacks the LA redhead, hot fairy angels appear, a sleigh ride occurs... then BOOM a pirate ship explodes! Seriously...ah, I don't know. Then dragons start flying around...while the 80's bass line thumps under "Shine On Meeeee (high squeaky back grounds vocals)"...fireworks?

If you are an artist trying make a music video and aren't well known, please don't try to weave a story line into it. As seen from these examples, it doesn't matter how much money you have or don't have. If you MUST have a story, don't include yourself. Performing to the camera or live footage is way better - unless you're truly trying to make a bad video and not just saying you're in on the joke when you have 100,000 hits on Youtube with all the comments saying "lolz" and "moron FTW".
